We are searching for students to work on a policy-relevant data collection project. The project, managed by the Harvard Kennedy School Government Performance Lab and the City of Seattle, seeks to gather more information about the homeless population. The information collected during this project may directly impact policy and funding decisions and help improve the lives of people experiencing homelessness.

We are looking for 6 to 10 data collectors to work directly with the project manager and interview people experiencing homelessness. As part of the project, you will get direct experience interviewing a vulnerable population, first-hand knowledge of how shelters and transitional housing programs operate, and research experience that applies to many fields.

This work will begin immediately to answer pressing policy questions related to the recently declared State of Emergency due to the homeless crisis in Seattle. We plan to field the survey in January 2016.

To apply, please send your resume and a letter of interest to Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, so please apply as soon as possible.
