Under current Immigration Law, children are not entitled to legal representation in deportation proceedings. In fact, 50% of children arriving in the U.S. have no one to represent them in court. These unrepresented children are five times more likely to be deported back to danger. Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) is committed to representing unaccompanied immigrant and refugee children in their deportation proceedings to ensure that no child stands in court alone. Make a difference in a child’s life today!

We need volunteer interpreters to assist pro bono attorneys in meeting and representing clients. If you are interested, please complete the online form here. If you have any questions or concerns, contact Melody Young at myoung@supportkind.org.
