Boutique public interest litigation firm practicing in the areas of dependency, juvenile, youth, appellate law and low bono family law is seeking a pro bono intern.
Candidates must possess solid academic credentials along with strong writing, research, communication, and interpersonal skills.
The position offers the opportunity for hands-on participation with clients and development of courtroom skills (for Rule 9 qualified individuals) under supervision of firm attorneys.
Externship credit available, part or full-time. Potential for work-study. Hours are flexible.
Skills developed include client interviewing, court observation & participation, issue spotting, legal research, legal writing, and law office management. There will also be opportunities to network in the legal community.
