Washington Supreme Court Justice Mary Yu is looking for a research assistant to support her work on an American Bar Association Task Force that is revising standards for the juvenile justice system. Justice Yu is seeking to fill this unpaid position as soon as possible and to keep the student on the project through the 2017-18 academic year.
The research assistant will perform assignments as delegated by Justice Yu and will also meet with Justice Yu occasionally to track the progress of the work. The work will be done independently and does not require travel. Applicants should demonstrate strong research skills and an interest in juvenile justice reform.
Justice Yu estimates that the position will require no more than 10 hours per month.
